I’ve spent the past several years reading the wisdom literature of spiritual traditions around the world and continue to be fascinated but the great similarity between them. We walk different paths, but it certainly does seem we’re all on the same journey. A favorite “spiritual teacher” is Adyashanti, an American, but deeply rooted in Zen Buddhism. His book, Resurrecting Jesus, dovetails marvelously with everything I’ve read over the past few years and gives us a universal way — whether or not you subscribe to a faith tradition rooted in Christianity – to view the figure of Jesus the Christ. Highly recommended!!
